IELTS, also known as International Language Testing Center is the world’s most popular English Language Proficient Test for higher education and global migration. It assesses all of your English skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and is designed to reflect how you will use English at study, work, and at play, in your new life abroad. It has an excellent international reputation, and is accepted by over 9,000 organizations worldwide, including schools, universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies. The cost for the test is NPR 16, 950.
The Test of English as a foreign language, or TOEFL, is a test which measures people English language skills to see if they are good enough to make a course at university, or graduate school in English speaking countries. It is for people whose native language is not English. It majors how well a person uses reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills to perform academic task. This test is accepted by more than 7500 universities and colleges and agencies in more than 130 countries. The test is divided into four sections: reading, Listening, speaking, and writing. Each individual section caries 30 marks for total of 120 marks. The cost for this test is US $ 165, and is administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS).
The Japanese Language NAT-TEST is an examination that measures Japanese language ability of students who are not native Japanese speakers. The tests are separated by difficulty (five levels) and general ability is measured in three categories: Grammar/Vocabulary, Listening and Reading Comprehension. The format of the exam and the types of questions are equivalent to those that appear on the Japanese Language Ability Test ( JLPT). It costs NPR 3,400 to take test.
